Dagmar Plamperová: Wales and beyond...

The story of the manuscript Wales and beyond... began many years ago, eight, nine in a North Wales coastal town called Abergele. It continued in the rain-soaked reflections of Manchester bars, where the inquisitive faces of my loved ones twinkled. Lyrics appeared in magazines, others were performed at literary evenings, others won awards from the judges of the Vokolk Prize. Still, this slim collection of prose poems took a long time to find its way.

They say, "what grows slowly grows well." Accept our invitation to a poetic, adventurous journey through Wales and beyond, accompanied by the author's own songs. She will play together with accordionist Jana Bezpalcova.
