Architectura.cz: Contemporary City vs. Contemporary Art

The guests of the first of a three-part series of debates will be ToyBox, a street art artist, illustrator, visual artist and author of comics, and Epos 257, a visual artist working with the urban environment and iconography of the city, whose interventions often target sensitive social topics and repeatedly touch upon the issue of public space, Jiří David, Czech intermedia artist and teacher, glosser of the operation of the Czech art scene, art historian Marie Foltýnová, head of the Public Sculpture Department of the Czech National Museum of Fine Arts, and architect Jakub Hendrych from IPR Prague. The debate will be moderated by art and architecture historian Dan Merta, founder and director of the Landscape Festival.
