A timeless jazz kaleidoscope. The Charles Lloyd Quartet from 1967 will play from the tabla of jazz modernism. Czech-American group of pianist Skip Wilkins will be presenting new music from home. Remembering drummer Paul Motian are recordings by saxophonist Joe Lovano with the Jacob Bro Sextet. New albums will be by Gerald Clayton and saxophonist Oded Tzur. There will also be music by the Dama Dama ensemble, and the Advent Jazz Evening will close with pianist Carla Bley's Partyka Brass Quintet.
