A timeless jazz kaleidoscope in a traditional reading and listening program.

It is often talked about, little played. That's why in Tableau of Modern Jazz saxophonist John Coltrane will play with guitarist Kenny Burrell in a joint quintet. A kaleidoscope of contemporary jazz will be presented by American pianist Aaron Parks, the Norwegian Orchestra from Trondheim and a recent Prague guest - guitarist Julian Lage. In the "jazz borderlands" window, there will be interesting music by Norwegian drummer Thomas Strønen with Japanese pianist Ayumi Tanaka and a string trio. The very energetic hard bop will be a remembrance of the music of bassist Ludek Hulan, who tragically and prematurely died forty-five years ago on 22 February.
