Mr. Tumor

A one man show about the life story of a depressed cell that evolves into Mr Tumor. A science-based comedy about cancer explaining its origins with humour and insight. A mix of comedy, dance, narrative and drama.

In cooperation with Ask the Scientist! a debate on the topic will take place after the performance: On the origin of cancer, where the audience will be given space for their questions. 

Author and leading roles: Ondřej Lidický, Ph.D., a scientist by training with a focus on targeted therapy, comedian in his spare time

Adam Obr, Ph.D., a cancer biologist working on the interaction of leukemia cells with the immune system. 

Markéta Pelantová, Ph.D. student, studies tumor cell invasiveness and cell signaling.
