MR + Merbo Tubes

Concert of related bands sailing through alternative waters. MR - a female guitar duo unrestrainedly combining the best of trip hop with the best of Czech folk. And MRBTRBK - Nordic brass combining everything with everything, but most of all punk, hip hop, Philip Glass and afro beat.

The MR band is singer, songwriter, musician, artist, teacher, mushroom, herb and natural dye expert and culinarian Marie Ladrová and bass guitarist, philologist and language lecturer Ludmila Bartošová. Their work honours the different forms of natural forces and their study draws on the experience of encounters with landscapes, inspired by the works of thinkers and authors (Olga Tokarczuk, Jiri Bulis, Wabi Ryvola, Khalil Djibran, Michel Foucault, Plato). Alternative psychedelic folk.

Merbo Trubky is a partisan brass band from Merboltice. In the kettle they mix brass, rap, jazz and world music. They play unplugged. Where others are still humming, our audience is already dancing. In Brass We Trust!
