Argo: "Latin America"

Writing as an act of self-preservation and finding one's own voice? Translation as an act between delirium and discipline? A literary debate with translators Jiří Holub, Anna Štádlerová and Anežka Charvátová.

We will be talking about (not only) the cult novel The Colour of Summer by Cuban dissident Reinaldo Arenas, Monsters, the literary sensation by Argentine transgender actress Camila Sosa Villada, and Kruelas, a short story anthology featuring over twenty distinctive talents from various corners of contemporary Spanish-language literature. 

Moderated by Martina Mašínová. The drummer of the band Porno para Ricardo Renay Kayrus will perform as a guest.
