Gilad Atzmon (ISR) & EU-4tet - Křest album "Praying for More Songs to Come"

Gilad Atzmon will launch his new album "Praying for More Songs to Come" (Title XXII) on November 18th at the Unijazz Reading Room. The album is heavily inspired by the legacy of John Coltrane, which he combines with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean influences. Atzmon, who has performed/recorded with Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney and Sinead O'Connor, continues his collaboration with his new European quartet consisting of established players from the Czech and Central European scene: Daniel Bulatkin (piano), Taras Volos (double bass) and Dušan Černák (drums). They recorded the album together in four hours live in one room - unedited, raw, with the energy and depth typical of authentic 60s recordings.
