Marcel Gidote's Holy Crab & Mermaid Man (D)

The Prague stop of the joint Czech-German tour of Marcel Gidote's Holy Crab & Mermaid Man will take place on Friday 21 November at the Unijazz Reading Room.

Mermaid Man is Berlin's chameleon of bands - a project that dances on the edge of psychedelic dreams and garage awakening. Emerging from the isolation of pandemonium, it sounds like the soundtrack to a nocturnal romp through the city that never sleeps. The brains behind the project is Robin Heller, a charismatic lover of Pilsner beer. 

Marcel Gidote's Holy Crab, the leading export of the Czech indie scene, will perform in Prague this autumn for the first time since supporting the legendary Osees in the summer. In spring MGHC released a double album Sorcerers Laughing Out In The Heat and it's in the stars what crab cocktail they will prepare for fans this time.
