Argo: Launch of two novels from the AAA edition: by Ben Lerner and Rita Bullwinkel

Ben Lerner is one of the most acclaimed authors of contemporary American literature - his prose has been described as "Ben Lerner has an unprecedented range of voice and a refined linguistic sensibility. In doing so, each chapter of the novel chronicles a single bout, from the quarterfinals to the unexpectedly stacked finals. In the author's narrative, the girls' pasts intersect with their futures - and the intersection is always a given boxing match; thanks to the author's exceptionally precise language, refined narrative style, and centrifugal imagery, the depiction of a ruthless boxing contest gradually transforms into a compelling parable about girls on the cusp of adulthood and their struggles with the world around them.
