UNI live: funky bass party - Marek Bero

I will play my favourite funk, soul, reggae, rnb and pop tunes in the inspiring environment of the Čítárna Unijazz club in Žižkov. 

You'll hear Tower of Power, Blockheads, Sade, Jamiroquai, Stevie Wonder, Peter Gabriel, Queen, James Brown, John Mayer arranged for solo bass with backing tracks. 

After the concert, we will have a discussion with Honza Mikulecky (bass for Vlasta Hortváth, Rock the Opera) about why people don't hear the bass line in a song, why 3x E always works, or myths about talent or musicians. Afterwards there will be an opportunity for Q&A.

At the end of the show, three lucky spectators will win valuable prizes.

Come to a funky evening full of bass grooves, interesting conversation about music and bass guitar, and dissipate the grey of winter in a funky spirit.
