Jazzmania of Vladimír Kouril #268

The archaeology of Czech jazz modernism will resound with music from the mid-1960s - Karel Krautgartner's orchestra and finally the famous SH Quintet. Saxophonist Joe Hendesrson will play with the famous standards of Billy Strayhorn with just bass or even purely solo. Guitarists John Scofield and Bill Frisell will reminisce musically about their homeland. Making his Jazzmania debut will be saxophonist Walter Smith III. The big band can't be missed: Thad Jones & Mel Lewis Orchestra with their famous 1967 recording. Catherine Russell will sing from pianist Kenny Barron's Songbook.
