HEAVEN IS RED LIKE YOUR LIPS - A live evening about an album that hasn't aged

In April 1996, the album was released, which became one of the most significant musical moments of the 1990s. Heaven is Red - a fusion of the poetry of Jáchym Topol, the sonic visionaryism of Jan P. Muchow and the voice of Monika Načeva - returns after thirty years in the form of its first vinyl reissue.
On 6 May, a special event will take place in the Reading Room of the Unijazz. And it won't just be about remembering. There will be those who were at the birth of the album and others for whom it remains a living work. The theme of the evening will be music, lyrics, the context of the 1990s and today's perspective.

This meeting will also kick off an extraordinary nationwide tour, which will culminate on 4 June with a vinyl reissue launch at the Akropolis Palace.

The vinyl will be released in early May 2026 on Supraphon, giving this essential album the physical form and space it deserves. It will be available for purchase on site and after the evening there will be a signing session with the full line-up - Monika Načeva, Jáchym Topol and Jan P. Muchow.
