Souvrat

Originally a purely Czechoslovak, purist songwriting band, which once bought an epic guitar instead of a proper jerky for their wedding and electrified themselves. 

In their beloved hood, they will play from their wooden album Two Endings (2020), but also songs that are growling, secret, forgotten, insistent, theatrical, resuscitated, in short, some selected pieces from countless songs never recorded. 

And since Souvrat bounced around Manhattan between 2022 and 2024, he'll also present something from the American phase, the New York Tapes, which is literally about to be released, and which, with the help of God and yours truly (Donio), will soon be released on the most beautiful carrier in the world. 

Petr Onufer 

Petr Onufer, the frontman of the band T.G.P. from Žižkov, will perform with an acoustic guitar and with the moral and musical support of guitarist Tomáš Pácalt, he will sing his ripping songs with English lyrics about love, death, gin, summer walks in faraway cities, winter journeys home, a flood in the centre of Prague or a Texas ghost town. 

As two reviewers memorably put it, the songs in question „blend classic, purely American rock songwriting with post-punk musical nebulae“ and are „somewhere between country, woodsy post-punk and good old bigbeat, in short, like Nick Cave swapping Berlin for Prague 3 and Blix for Jarda Svec“.
