+ April week +

It's going to be a boring week in the Reading Room. April, hahaha.

From today our walls boast an exhibition by Tomáš Braun, What the Eyes Cannot See. The title is a bit paradoxical, however, because your eyes are immediately drawn to Tomáš's raw paintings with bright colours and vigorous strokes.

On Tuesday 4 April you can stop by for another Jazzmania by Vladi Kouril. This time the topic will be one of the most important orchestras not only of the 60s, but of the whole modern jazz history, led by trumpeter Quincy Jones. And of course not only that.

On Wednesday, our tables will once again cover the chess boards in another Unijazz Open tournament! Come and play, no matter the level.

And on Thursday, April 6, there will be a party in the form of the launch of the first mini-album by Mr. Pink and The Bad Thoughts. The band's garage blues is intertwined with cave-like moods and thumping rhythms à la The Cramps. Support comes from Rány Těla, Elektrokohle, Thee Lazy Eyes and Candy Flip Djs.

Come on!
