Another of the regular screenings of 16mm film directed by Fila and Adam. The program will include biographical film about the Czech painter Václav Rabas, a well-known animated film The Pied Piper  and jazz documentary  Duke Ellington Swings Through Japan.

1. Václav Rabas (directed by František Lukáš, 1955)

Václav Rabas (*13 November 1885, Krušovice) was a Czech painter who was among the first to be awarded the title of National Artist. He was a member of the Artistic Beseda, the Mánes Society, co-founder of the Association of Czech Artists and Graphic Designers Hollar and was one of the so-called Friday artists.

2. Duke Ellington Swings Through Japan (directed by Peter Poor, 1964)

Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington was an American jazz composer and pianist, and for many years the leader of his own orchestra. One of the most important figures of 20th century jazz. Original creator, author of more than two thousand jazz compositions.

3. The Pied Piper (directed by Jiri Barta, 1985)

Jiří Barta (*26 November 1948) is a Czech animator and director. He graduated in film and television graphics from the Academy of Arts and Crafts in Prague in 1975. In 1979 and 1982 he worked at the school as an assistant professor.
