Timeless Jazz Kaleidoscope: the Polish Evening

The February evening will be dedicated to Polish jazz, which has had a great reputation on the jazz scene - not only in Europe - since the 1960s. The soundboard of jazz modernism with the subtitle No retro, modern jazz forever will therefore present three ensembles from the 1960s: the quintets of pianist Krzysztof Komeda and alto saxophonist Bogusław Rudziński, as well as the duo of organist Krzysztof Sadowski. A kaleidoscope of the present will be played by the trio of pianist Marcin Wasiłewski, trumpeter Tomasz Stańko, bass clarinetist Szymon Klima, pianist Dominik Wania, alto saxophonist Adam Pieronczyk and guest Miroslav Vitouš or saxophonist Joe Lovano.
