Electra5 + PLOY

Electra5 is a four-member band from Prague, consisting of Veronika Bednarova (vocals), Vit Malypetr (guitar), Daniel Hruska (drums) and Jiri Matys (double bass). Electra5's music ranges from trip hop, jazz and blues to dance rhythms. Electra5 stands out not only for its genre diversity, but also for the distinctive rhythmic groove that characterizes their work. The band offers original music with Czech lyrics and their repertoire includes songs such as Schovka, Válečná, Ledy and Slunce.

PLOY (Tom Braun - guitar, Bohdan Karásek - drums, Mikuláš Čimbura - keyboards) is a no-bass band from Prague, an instrumental trio, constantly expanding their personal concept of "fusion". The roots of traditional musical genres remain a good Newtonian basis for excursions into the realm of quanta, sounds, noises, word salad and gibberish. Pop with a strychnine smile, jazz with a dash of TNT. All the dreaded contradictions instantly disappear under layers of suggestive harmonies with a blanket of samples, loops, bugs and lice. Last May, the trio released their second studio album on the Polí5 label followed by a music film.
