Freshwater Dogs + Table Mountain String Band

Table Mountain String Band is a four-piece band from Prague playing lively and energetic American folk songs, which stylistically fall within the so-called ‘old-time’ genre. They chose their name after a place in Northern California, near where clawhammer banjo player Nick Jennings grew up; he leads the band alongside his wife, Eliška Jennings, a native of Prague, who plays the guitar. Their interwoven vocals and solid rhythm form the core of their distinctive sound.

Freshwater Dogs are an alternative blues-rock project led by guitarist and singer Adam Hanzlík. We draw inspiration from delta blues and jazz, as well as funk and doom, resulting in something that’s hard to describe but (mostly) good.
