Jakub Kapičiak: I write, therefore I (am not) - launch of a book about the Russian underground

Among the most prominent figures of the Russian artistic underground and independent literary scene in the Soviet and post-Soviet periods was Dmitry Prigov (1940-2007), a representative of Moscow conceptualism. I Write, Therefore (Not) I Am: Dmitry Alexandrovich Prigov's Art Project and Moscow Conceptualism is the first major publication on this versatile artist and poet in Czech. The book will be introduced by its author Jakub Kapičiak from the Institute of Slavonic Studies of the CAS. The evening will be hosted by Jakub Mikulecký, also a member of the Institute of Slavonic Studies of the CAS and author of a book on Bulgarian unofficial literature of the 1940s-1980s.
