Jan Bet'ák and guests - CD launch in the Language of Flowers

Launch of the new album by Jan Bít'ák, violinist, singer and guitarist, formerly a member of the Anděl-awarded band Bezobratři. He is currently working on his own songwriting and lyrics, for which he was awarded this year's Proglas Radio Prize "For the Beauty of Words". For his debut, Imitation of Writing, he was shortlisted for the annual Anděl Awards in the folk genre category in 2023.

After his debut Imitation of Writing (Galén 2023), Jan Bít'ák comes with a new album of imaginative songs, poetically reflecting the events of "ordinary" life, but also existential questions that we deal with in today's complex and hurried times. Many guests have contributed to the recording, including Marie Puttnerová, Beata Bocek and Vladimír Javorský. Žaneta Vítová (accordion), Jan Přibil (trumpet), Tomáš Spiřík (double bass) and Martin Novák (drums) will complement the intimate songwriter's testimony.
