Jana Vébrová

Prague launch of the second album "Kameny ze dna" by the peculiar singer-songwriter Jana Vébrová, this time accompanied by top jazz and cross-over musicians (Aslamas, Dvořáček, Jirucha, Tichý).

Jana Vébrová is a singer-songwriter from the Lusatian Mountains. It was the "uprootedness" of the local region and the zero percent of folklore that forced her to find her own way of singing, unheard of on the Czech scene, her untrained accordion playing and the composition of her songs.

A poetic batch of expressive chanson in sound valleys ranging from steam hovering over a bowl of green tea to steam from a locomotive.
