The 250th anniversary episode of the traditional reading and listening programme about jazz. V

In Tableau of Modern Jazz we return to big bands, this time with saxophonist Oliver Nelson. The Kaleidoscope of Contemporary Jazz will feature saxophonist Trygve Sein, with the great Mats Eilertsen on bass in his quartet, and guitarist Julian Lage, this time with the distinctive reinforcement of his trio, with guitarist Bill Frisell. John Redman will play accompanied by the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. On the border of jazz and art music, saxophonist Tim Berne and his quintet will bring us to the edge of jazz and artistic music, and we will indulge in some healthy sentiment with guitarist Larry Coryell and bassist Miroslav Vitous.
