An adventure in listening. In the series Archaeology of Czech Modern Jazz 1948-1969, we will listen to samples of Studio 5's own work (Pálka, Voborník, Hulan) from the period 1959-61. Kaleidoscope will feature the international trio of pianist and alto saxophonist Jiří Levíček and the quartet of saxophonist Branford Marsalis from this year's albums, the quartet of trumpeter Avishai Cohen, the guitar duo of George Benson and Luiz Bonfá, and the avant-garde octet of alto saxophonist Mark Pospiesalski with an adaptation of music by contemporary composer Tadeusz Baird.
