May Jazzmania will be exceptionally dedicated to a single and unique personality - pianist, organist, composer, arranger and bandleader Carla Bley (May 11, 1936 - October 17, 2023), her 88th birthday in May. She will be heard in big bands, combos of various sizes starting with a trio, and will not be missed in her duo with bassist Steve Swallow, in recordings from 1971 to 2013.
