Veronika Lišková's documentary film from 2022.

Anthropologist Zdenka and her family move to Longyearbyen, a small Arctic town in Norway. Here, through interviews with some of its inhabitants, she uncovers a mosaic of different stories and discovers what life is really like in this mysterious but also poetic place. At the same time, however, the film also sensitively follows her personal story. The town has a small population and many of them are immigrants. But they face a number of problems in a town that at first sight is attractive because of its location in a seemingly unspoilt countryside, but which is affected by climate change. However, the film also partly touches on the broader ecological theme of human intervention in nature. A documentary about the search for symbiosis and peace, but also about displacement, freedom of choice and acceptance.
