Le Kapr + Nick

Concert in support of Focus Prague - Recovery Housefeaturing the band Le Carp (the singer of the band works at the Recovery House as a peer consultant) and the performer Nick (one of the Recovery House residents).

The event is open to the general public with a voluntary admission fee that will go towards the further development of this service.

Le Carp was founded in 2000. They define themselves as "a promising band past its zenith"playing poetic jazzbeat. Le Kapre's songs blend elements of Latin, swing, folk, reggae and ragtime. The varied music of guitarist Leoš Valigurský allows the original lyrics of singer and frontman Michal Kaspar to shine through.

Loner aka Loner Nick is a one man project combining elements of hip-hop with electronica. Czech lyrics full of various moods and emotions emerge from introspective music with a touch of hit-ness. "Music keeps me alive and without it I probably wouldn't be here anymore. It's a process where I can transform all my emotions and thoughts, and that helps me and sometimes it might inspire someone," says Lonesome Nick.
