Les Gars d'en Bas

Les Gars d'en Bas is the fruit of a musical and friendly meeting of Czech and Breton musicians, combining jazz and gipsy swing. The combination of thoughtful and experienced music and poetic lyrics, especially from the pen of polyglot singer-songwriter Grégoire Bruno, creates a distinctive aesthetic of contemporary French chanson, enriched with influences from Eastern European folk music, rock'n'roll and rap. The intertwining sounds of guitars, double bass, accordion, clarinet, saxophone and colourful polyphony on stage will transport you into a warm atmosphere of musical journeys, poetry, even fun, just as the five of them have gathered it all on their hundreds of kilometres of travels.
