Long Gone Day: Grunge Music Party

A freely composed evening dedicated to grunge music. We will play live more and less known songs in the original concept of various musicians. Rather acoustically, lightly interspersed with excerpts of memories from books about grunge.

Long Gone Day is a song with lyrics by Layne Staley and Mark Lanegan. The two shared a great friendship and a great heroin addiction. Only one of them, Lanegan, overcame it, and even that was a miracle.

Long Gone Day, long lost days, reminiscing about the time before all this madness began, time with friends, innocent outings, fire, fooling around, and a pretty carefree enjoyment of a bunch of young up-and-coming Seattle musicians.

Now it's 1994. Andy died, Kurt died. The lightness of days gone by is long gone. It's been less than five years, but so much has changed. The unbearable fame, the depression, the drugs, they're not even fun anymore.

But there's still the music... 30 years later... Let's go together out of town, to the woods, to the Reading Room, make a fire, pick up a guitar and play, live, forget the bad and everything will be fine again for once.

Performers: Štěpán Drábek, Magdalena Dolejšová, Adam Kredba, Venca Mánek, Maria Muzychuk, Tomáš Pácalt, Martin Pelikán, Iva Procházková, Ivan Skřítek, Pavel Stárek, Anna Vtípilová and others.

Entrance 200 CZK in pre-sale, 250 CZK on the spot in cash
