Mythmaker

Miñtenkér is a Prague band playing Jewish, Roma and other folk music of the Carpathian arch in a relatively traditional line-up from the early 20th century. Miñtenkér was formed as a joint project of musicians from the bands Der Šenster Gob and Vousy, some of whom took up a different instrument than usual for their own amusement. Violin, clarinet, violin counter, dulcimer, double bass and five voices, or a hundred-year-old Jewish wedding in a remote Carpathian pub. Cheers.
