A Sea of Days: vinyl launch, support act: Dvořák

A journey through *The Sea of Days* is like gliding across a perfect mirror of everyday life, complete with its whimsical nooks and crannies. The band plays music that is down-to-earth, yet at the same time transcendent and tenacious. You can easily tune into it in the cab of a lorry or on your way home from the cinema. It’s easy to lose yourself in it, to find solace, and to be moved. And the main characters in the songs seem to be constantly searching, only to eventually fade away and disappear. The music is influenced by bands such as BUTY, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Mac DeMarco, and even Dežo Ursiny – though there are many more influences to be found. A reflection of mist, atmosphere and ordinary phrases par excellence.
