(In)chamber evening of Jim Morrison and Filip Topol

We invite you to an extraordinary evening of music and poetry on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the death of the singer and poet, leader of The Doors, Jim Morrison. This is also a follow-up to the successful Philip Topol evening held last June in the Unijazz Reading Room. Both of these icons have influenced and continue to inspire music fans across generations. Not to mention that The Doors were a great inspiration for Filip Topol with their liveliness.

A mini-festival to remember awaits you. A party full of intertwining songs not only of the legendary The Doors, PVO, but the performers will also present their own repertoire. Riders On Fire (The Doors Tribute band) of the cult Kladno guitarist and singer Michal Koberstein will play. Then the stars of the alternative scene Furt Rovně, you can look forward to other surprises. The singer-songwriter, artist and writer Hana Stinka Lundiaková will also arrive. The increasingly popular indie rock musician Jakub Eden, who is preparing his debut album for this autumn. PVO songs will be performed by musician, poet and underground researcher Peter Markovsky.

There will also be a poetry programme of authors influenced by both protagonists - Arthurka Višňová, a collector of poetry, lover of the colour red, and Aleš T. Rájský, who has a taste for the underground, will read their poems. Leslie Parker, accompanied by keyboardist Pablo Goméz, will remind us of black poetry, but also of Filip's verses. The poetry section will be closed by poet and promoter David Pillow, who will perform in a duo with Peter Markovski, who will sit at the piano.
