Posejpal/Night Note/Koran + Michaela Bartonkova
The trio consists of guitarist Miroslav Posejpal, who has been active on the Czech alternative scene since the 1970s. Milan Maštálka aka Night Note, nicknamed "the Czech Steve Roach" (he is better known abroad, where he participates in various collective activities and his work is published in these international forums) and Michal Kořán - one of the fathers of Czech ambient (member of the Kora et le Mechanix project).
Michaela Bartonova
Visual artist, puppet designer, digital theatre performance creator and iPad artist. She is a theatre director Tineola. He designs puppets, sets, carves, creates costumes. He paints and draws. In recent years he has been combining art with science and making available to the audience some facts from biology that have not yet made it into school textbooks. He considers digital art to be a natural part of art today. Yet it honours all other traditional forms. Often her painting is influenced by music, it just can't be done without it. She seeks out ambient compositions and sometimes accompanies musicians live at concerts.
Zhilee
Zhilee, real name Julie Goetz, is a special phenomenon on our music scene. Viola, looper, voice is not just a fancy layering of loops in her concept. Her songs are sophisticated compositions that make you laugh one moment and then, as if she's passed out, your breath stops and you can't help but breathe again. Her compositions are not just songs, they are stories full of emotions, once in Czech, then in English or maybe in Polish. She studied drama acting at the JAMU in Brno and spent a year at the PWST acting school in Krakow. She has worked on several stages, but also participated in a number of musical projects. As a soloist, she takes her stage skills to a whole new level.
Ondřej Smeykal
An exceptional solo demonstration of the possibilities of didgeridoo playing, its frequency range and the involvement of other register funds useful in playing on the contemporary didgeridoo scene is perhaps most distinctively portrayed by the Czech player Ondřej Smeykal. With his unique and idiosyncratic expression, he discovers new areas of the game that have not been explored before. The special charm of Smeykal's live performance gives many listeners a strong impression of the representation of multiple players, also thanks to the use of sampling.
Thanks to this artistic versatility, Ondřej Smeykal was named by the American Didge Project as one of the best non-aboriginal didgeridoo players in the world.
