Původní Bureš + Nohaband + Hlavec
Publication of the new issue of Flek's magazine Header with the participation of the bands Původní Bureš, Nohaband and a guest. Each visitor will receive one copy of Hlavce.
Hlavec is a small, underground magazine started in 1991 by artist and social welfare worker Ruda Flek. The magazine featured news about the alternative music scene, poetry, song lyrics, articles from Ruda's travels, articles about history (Zdeněk Dragoun), archaeology (a circle of students around Ruda's son František) and many other issues. It was published twice a year and was available for free, always at some spring and autumn concert of Ruda's friend Jakub Noha and his Nohaband. In 2009, Ruda became seriously ill. Shortly before his death, he asked a few friends, including Jakub and me, if we would continue publishing. Eventually we agreed that I would collect contributions and plant each issue. Others took care of the printing, proofreading, etc. So since 2010 we have been publishing Fleek's Head without Rudy Fleek. No one collects or rates the submissions, and the quality is up to each contributor, though I'd probably be reluctant to put complete crap in. Ruda was old school, always valued personal contact and wanted the magazine to be on paper only, which is why there is so little about him on the web except for some invitations and event photos. We're trying to preserve that fondness of his.
