Radio 1 #9: Jana and Ondřej Ježek
Another part of the programme dedicated to the famous voices of Radio 1, which you can see live in our Reading Room. April's guests will be Jana Kománková and/or Jerry Žák and Ondřej Ježek.
Their voices have been heard on Radio 1 since the early 1990s - previously in regular daytime and nighttime broadcasts, in programmes such as Velká Sedma, Zátiší or Knižní servis, and still today in many jingles.
Ondřej is continuously involved in music as a musician (among others OTK, Nesbitt's Inequality, Gurun Gurun, Data Koroptev), sound engineer and producer. In his studio Jámor he has helped to bring to the world a number of interesting not only home recordings, he is also signed to the soundtrack of films such as Alois Nebel, Takovej barevnej vocas letící komety, Mars, Martian Ships and Rozsviť světlo, let them be seen. He is involved in the musical dramaturgy of the legendary Banat Festival.
Jana enjoys music in her spare time when she is not working for EDA Early Care or teaching circle dance classes for the elderly. She searches for new recordings and then slides those that catch her attention (and even better, surprise her) to the listeners of Radio 1 every second Monday afternoon.
