French singer-songwriter Ryder the Eagle's work explores themes of lost and found love. His debut EP The Ride of Love (2017), recorded in Paris, is a tribute to his wife and the very idea of true love. A move to London was followed by a second EP Free Porn (2019). After the breakup of a ten-year relationship, Ryder moved to Mexico City, where he released his first album Follymoon (2022). It captures all forms of romantic sadness - from deep loneliness to frantic, futile attempts to fall in love again.
