Tereza Lišková: Plein air in a nutshell

Tereza Lišková (born 1992 in Písek) has been working more intensively in the space of landscape - (nature) - home. The visualization of this space is literally Heart of the author's affairs and also her unspoken claim to thinking. Nature, here a concrete landscape connected with personal history, represents for Liška a gateway to herself: it is a visualization of the subject, where painting represents a form of language in self-expression; the image is an inner speech to personal experience, a kind of noisy (because seen) self-communication. The landscape enters into a relationship with the living body, and in this it is not only a space, but the very agent of recollection - the artist does not lose herself in it, on the contrary, she makes herself present, sits down, completes, and thus actually integrates memories into a space she knows from herself as Home.
