UNI on stage: Jiri Imlauf

Jiří Imlauf will perform in the Reading Room with Ondřej Kyas and Jiří Šedivec.

When the motorcycle of the Rocking Horses hit a dead end in 2021, their singer and guitarist Jiri Imlauf decided to continue on his own. He didn't expect the motorcycle to become a fast train, and certainly not an express, but he didn't expect it to be a train car either. 

At first he performed alone, with acoustic versions of his home band's songs, but over time his own work began to dominate the setlists. This formed the basis for his upcoming solo album produced by Tomáš Neuwerth. Coincidence brought Imlauf together with Ondrej Kyas, guitarist and keyboardist of the Brno band Květy, with whom they finished the record together. Together they will also present it during a series of concerts to celebrate its release.
