Memories of Marsyas

The first night of three.

Guitarist Pavel Skála and cellist Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba will share with you their memories and songs from the years they spent together in the musical group Marsyas. You can look forward to both reproduced and live music and a talk about their collaboration with Zuzana Michnova and Petr Kalandra.

The history of the folk-rock band Marsyas dates back to the 1970s. Since then, the line-up has changed many times, with names such as Petr Kalandra (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Pavel Skala (vocals, guitar), Jaroslav Nejezchleba (vocals, cello, bass guitar, violin) and Jiri Vondracek (vocals, guitar, percussion). The only musician who has remained in the band throughout its existence is the composer, lyricist and singer Zuzana Michnová.
