ACOUSTIC SUMMER IN THE READING ROOM #4

In the summer, you want to play it easy! And that's why we are organizing a series of summer acoustic concerts. Come and spend a pleasant evening at our bar and delight your ears by listening to both emerging and established names in the music scene playing acoustic. A unique opportunity to support your favourites* as well as discover new faces and tunes! 3-4 projects will perform during the evening, both solo and group. You never know what you will get, but one thing is for sure - it will be worth it.

Everyone has a skeleton in their closet. Mr. Vráblik has Mr. Hájek. Some things are hard to explain and hard to talk about, but you can sing about them quite well. That's Hájek. Solo project of Radek Vráblik from the group Krajina. Guitar and vocals. Sometimes that's enough.

ALBA is a musical group made up of five unique women who play their own songs with soul and a touch of folk. Several songs from their repertoire will be performed at the Unijazz Reading Room, one of which will also be premiered.

The songwriter Hanzík plays songs that are characterized by a special raw poetics, insight and brisk rhythms. Underneath the veneer of rawness and unrestrained personal expression lies feeling and, above all, the art of capturing the genius loci - and without warning or scruples - unleashing it on people through the tones of the guitar.

JINOTAJ is a band from Hradec Kralove. It plays original songs by singer and guitarist Kamila Škvrnova, who surrounded herself with excellent and experienced musicians, who are Filip Vondruška - bass guitar, Tonda Pevala - guitar, chimes, vocals and Adela Škvrnova - percussion.
Stylistically, JINOTAJ is closest to indie folk, with a spice of Latin music, and occasionally a slight touch of blues. The songs are based on poetic lyrics carried on strong emotion. JINOTAJ is dreaming, melancholy and joy all in one.
