Fahrzavö
A quartet consisting of three winds and a dulcimer! The improvised folk, jazz and classical music in the program The Sea Ends Like a Sailor, influenced by "Chinese Baroque" - the compositions of 17th century Jesuit missionaries.

JANA VÖRÖŠOVÁ studied composition at the Prague Conservatory under Prof. Bohuslav Řehor and at the Faculty of Music of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under Prof. Václav Riedlbauch. She gained valuable experience during a year-long internship at the Koninklijk Conservatoire Brussel, where she became acquainted not only with the latest technologies of electronically processed sound, but also with various analysis methods. Her compositions have been performed at festivals such as Prague Premieres (CZ), Festival delle nazioni Citta di Castello (IT), Calliopée (FR) and others.
KRISTÝNA FARAG is a graduate of the Janáček Academy of Musical Arts, flutist and singer of the Cabaret Calembour ensemble of the Šotek-Orozovič-Suchý trio, active at the Palmovka Theatre. Member of the band Ziriab, focusing on Arabic music, where she feels her roots, practices improvisation and sings. She is involved in music across all eras, including the field of contemporary music. In the flute trio category, she was co-winner of the 1st prize at the Friedrich Kuhlau International Competition in Uelzen, Germany (2012). She enjoys experimenting with notes and words.
ZDENĚK ZÁVODNÝ is a player of woodwind instruments and creator of sound installations in which he often transformed light into sound and sound into image, and manipulated electronic images with sound. He is active in the freejazzcore trio Frisk, in the duo Trash Talk with drummer Didi Kern, and collaborates with the Prague Improvisation Orchestra, Moving Orchestra and others. In 2015-2019 he was the dramaturg of the Jazz Goes to Town festival in Hradec Králové.
MICHAL HRUBÝ plays clarinets, tenor saxophone and folk pipes from Slovakia. He founded and led the bands Neočekávaný dýchánek and Kapitán Kajman. He is currently active in several different bands (Romanovská Tichý Hrubý, Květovaný kůň, Prázdné hory jsou plné wiatru a děště, Drozdi a yeast...). He was a guest in the Berg Orchestra. In 2017 and 2018 he was the dramaturge of the Dobršská brána festival and in 2020 of the V Loukov u muziky festival. He says of his work, "I like to make sounds."
