Openly about Prague #6

We are living in a time of climate change, which we as a species have caused by our actions over the last hundred years. We are not yet in a position to see all its consequences, but it is certain to affect us profoundly, and we are already experiencing many of the changes first-hand. And, because our society is urbanised, how we are able to adapt urban life to changing climatic conditions will be crucial. How Prague is prepared to respond to climate change will be discussed by 4 panelists at the last debate of this year's Open about Prague series. Jana Komrsková - Deputy Mayor of Prague responsible for the environment and climate plan; Mgr. Petra Kolínská - Director (in charge) of the Green Circle office; Ing. arch. Anna Vinklárková - representative of Arnika and expert of the campaign "Prague - City for Life"; and - last but not least - RNDr. Michaela Pixová, Ph.D. - geographer dealing with the issue of environmental crisis and global sustainability.
