Acoustic Summer #7
In the summer, you want to play it easy! An acoustic concert programme composed on the basis of an open call. Both emerging and established names in the music scene will play.
Who can you look forward to during the second evening?
Boy from Holding, George Silverman and the Mask, Yurii Savinskiy and Ondřej Galuska will perform!
𝐊𝐥𝐮𝐤 𝐳 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮 - space folk project of Jan Polansky (guitar, vocal). Raw poetics of life in the backdrop of the city and relationships. In 2023, his studio track Muse was ranked third in the hit parade of the internet radio Géčko.
𝐎𝐧𝐝𝐫̌𝐞𝐣 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐬̌𝐤𝐚 - musician and philosopher. He has recorded four critically acclaimed albums with his band eggnoise (Angel nomination, Just Plain Folks Music Awards) and two with his solo project The Odd Gifts. He co-wrote the soundtrack to Jan Hřebejk's film The Holy Four.
𝐘𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐢 - pianist of Russian-Slovak origin, living in the Czech Republic for a long time. His compositions are based on classical music and enriched with elements of jazz, pop and folk. Yourii's sources of inspiration include Philip Glass, Diana Krall, Agnes Obel, Hania Rani and Nils Frahm. This year Yurii released his album Landscapes.
𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐤 - George Silverman and the Mask was founded by singer and guitarist George Silverman, ex-member of the underground band WC Band.
