Landscape + Windmill
The concert of KRAJINA and Vítrholc will offer, on the one hand, mainly personal messages wrapped in guitars, and on the other hand, stories in music that have been tested by time. An evening full of alternative, underground echoes and poetry.
Landscape (alternative rock): a musical group with relatively deep roots but only young shoots. Genre-wise it falls into the category of alternative rock with touches of dark folk, country and folk. The central trio (Radek Vráblík: guitar/guitar/vocals, Vojtěch Šícha: bass guitar, Lukáš Bouzek: drums), who prepared the only demo recording available so far in 2022, were joined by guitarist Robert Urbánek in 2023. The band has thus acquired a denser and more varied sound, which, however, continues to be dominated mainly by darker colours.
Windmill (big-beat-triphop): Vítrholc was founded in the first half of the 1990s, when drums and guitar accompanied the poets of the Vítrholc association on the stages of rock clubs at a time when only Prague's Viola presented readings. From improvisations he eventually moved on to melodramatic performances to musical loops played from the computer. He created several stage projects, culminating in the release of CD 100 in 2004. Since then, in addition to recording a number of demos and creating concert programmes, he has also been involved in author readings, performances, publishing Vítrholc Almanacs and organising thematic exhibitions. At present, Vítrholc on stage consists of - as ever - Dalibor Maňas, Karel Škrabal, Jaroslav Škvarna, Krista Kašpar, Filip Klega, Eliška Hondlová and Dominik Bárt.
