Argo Publishing: I'm nowhere here
Marta received a threatening summons to retrieve the stored items from the Prague depository. But she hadn't stored anything anywhere, she hadn't been in Prague for a quarter of a century and her marriage to an Austrian had just broken up. So she decides to find out what is behind the strange threat.
Maybe she will meet her daughter Judi, whom she hasn't seen for several years. But I wish she'd never taken that trip. From the beginning, she encounters dangerous and mysterious events. She gets into a serious car accident, wanders into the familiar zones of her childhood, gets trapped in an underground dungeon, almost loses her life... Before that, she accidentally injured a black bitch, the closest friend of the semi-authentic girl Vera. And her unfortunate act has taken her life in a completely different direction.
Marta gradually discovers that she is subject to the plan of someone unknown, someone who is subtly leading her against the current of consciousness and forcing her to descend further and further into the bowels of her forgotten inner landscape.
"A blow to the windshield of the Fabia catapults the bohemian photographer Marta to the edge of the subconscious, into the dark heart of a story about guilt, fear and forgiveness. Šimon Koudela works with images as if peeling back layers of mysterious frescoes..." Tereza Brdečková
