Rob Clamp + Bechy & Fee
Rob Clamp launches his debut album Lost Soul to life with a solo concert at the Unijazz Reading Room as part of his UK and European tour.
Heavily influenced by the likes of Ben Howard, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Bruce Springsteen, Rob's music is full of real life experiences, delivered in his own captivating storytelling style, with acoustic guitar accompanied by a palette of foot percussion. The year 2023 has been an eventful one for Rob, selling out a number of gigs in the South of England, appearing on BBC Introducing, winning the highly regarded 'Purbeck Rising 2022' competition, making his mark on the UK folk scene, and winning the 'Sofia International Singer Songwriter Festival 2022' in Bulgaria.
It's not often you come across a voice with such controlled power: even in the emotional heights and depths of the songs, Rob's voice retains a clarity and focus that is all too rare. Wherever his songwriting takes him, his voice adapts to the genre, from pop to folk to classical.
Bechy & Fee, that's singer Katerina with her mesmerizing, fragile vocals and bass guitar, complemented by Filip's precise acoustic guitar. Together, they form a lush original musical ensemble full of emotion and let you peek into their dreamy world. Their repertoire is based on melodic compositions that intertwine various genres from folk-pop to r'n'b to reggae.
